hi, mika :)
yes! I actually read ofuro just after I finished commenting... so good! I swear, I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to your stories... giddy, salivating & always wanting more (wow. that sounder a lot better in my head. lol)

as to Maya... well, I know what I'd do... but, she's your girl ;) maybe she needs more debauchery & torment (hell, maybe a lot more of it), before some unforeseen event brings about a happy ending? your Muse will guide you, I'm sure :)

Did you catch "Ofuro" yet? I posted it a few days ago: http://www.mikamatsumoto.com/portfolio/ofuro/

Thank you for the love on the stories! And indeed, your comments count: I'd like to make more installments of Maya's story too. I started it already, but I'm a little torn about how it should turn out. Do I want a somewhat happy ending or should it just be more debauchery and torment? Hmm... maybe I should do it as a "Choose Your Own Story" sort of thing and do two outcomes...

Yuka's story is one of my favorites too. :)

My motto is, don't wish for what could have been. Be thankful for the blessings you have - namely your two boys and loving husband. You are truly blessed to have those! Many of us don't -- myself included. Life can be different if you want it to be, but you can also enhance all that you currently have as well by adding a little spice or doing something different. I'm glad your imagination and thankful nature supercede all the "coulda, shoulda, woulda" stuff. I write about Japan because I know many have not had an opportunity to experience it, and while much of it is based on actual observations or situations, obviously some if it is embellished. All in all, Japan is a somewhat magical place, an orient version of Las Vegas if you will. What happens here, stays here... :-)

Hi Wendy! Thanks for following and reading my post. It really bothered me considerably when I saw how the elderly were treated when it came to situations like this. It is a commonplace occurrence. I can honestly imagine myself doing just a thing on the train to someone who dared to disrespect their elders. ;-)

lol, this'll be my last comment of the day (pinkie-promise!)... but I wanted to say I'm so excited for a new Tokyo Short! I've read them all, over & over again :D

*sigh*
sometimes... oh yeah, sometimes you make me wish my life was different than it is... but, if I were then I'd not have my 2 beautiful sons & loving hubby. and I don't know if it's healthy to think about having a different life as frequently as I sometimes do... but, when those times inevitably hit, I'm always happy after they pass... happy for my imagination AND for all the goodness in my life. :)

and... I totally admit I'm jealous of your Tokyo fun (worlds apart from my corner of Japan!)... but, that's what imagination is for, yeah? ;)
