Seeing The Light

Confessions, confessions…. I’ve been fronting, folks, and for that I sincerely apologize. You see, having the Companion around has been both good and bad. The good: he is a kind soul and really cares for me. He gives me much needed space when I want it and is around when I do want him. It makes having him around a very flexible arrangement.

So, I’m back from my Grand Cayman vacation with the Companion and already I have some comments to make. I said from the onset that I wasn’t certain how this trip would go given my horrible track record traveling with men. This trip was more or less a mixed bag, with some swinging highs and lows. Yes, eventually the Companion will read this and some of it he won’t really like (or perhaps will just be ambivalent about) but you know the saying “Frankly my dear…” SHRUG.
Grand Cayman is an amazing, special place in the Caribbean. I must say that it is among the friendliest places anywhere in this region. The people are likable and helpful, the area is just beautiful and even I was unexpectedly amazed by how wonderful this place was. Not to mention the local food is just tops in my book! Truly, I really love that island; it’s the kind of place I would retire to. This was the swinging high. Read more…
